After being assigned two solicitors who left the firm during lockdown, we finally managed to successfully conclude the case with the Horsham office team and the third lawyer. The initial delays were frustrating but the level of service then markedly improved.

I couldn’t recommend Valerie and the team at Mancini Legal highly enough. From start to finish, the level of communication was excellent. Valerie always responded promptly, answered every question I had quickly, and consistently provided reassurance alongside honest, expert advice, which made a huge difference throughout the process. I initially used Mancini for a property purchase that unfortunately fell through due to building legislation requirements that hadn’t been flagged by the estate agent. Valerie went above and beyond to get to the bottom of the issue, giving me complete clarity and confidence at what could have been a very stressful point. Because of that experience, I didn’t hesitate to return to Valerie and the team a few months later for my second attempt at buying, which has now successfully completed. This purchase also came with additional complexity due to the First Homes scheme, but everything was handled smoothly, efficiently, and with real care and attention. If I could give - 5 for a review I would of. After being let down by another solicitor phoned asked if did conveyancing for equity release.They did so sent my details couldn't give me a price .5 working days later still cant give me a price .A solicitor had my stuff but admin girl couldnt get hold of him no idea where he was .I have wasted nearly 2 weeks dealing with this shower .All I kept being told was they are very busy .To busy to even give a quote !Suggest anyone thinking of dealing with this shower avoid like the plague.

To clarify: when dealing with conveyancing matters, especially those involving equity release, we cannot simply provide a “quote” without first receiving and reviewing the necessary details of the property and transaction. This is because equity release is a specialist legal area, and costs can vary depending on complexity and lender requirements. We also cannot act without first carrying out the proper checks required of us by law. While we always aim to provide fee estimates as quickly as possible, there are occasions where additional information or solicitor input is needed. This ensures that any advice or costs we provide are accurate and compliant, rather than rushed or misleading. We regret that you feel time was wasted and that our communication did not meet your expectations, but we must emphasise that your matter was not ignored—rather, it was being processed responsibly in line with our professional obligations. We take feedback seriously and continually review our processes, but equally, we ask that reviews fairly reflect the reality of regulated legal work.
