Thank you Eileen. If I have identified the right file, the transaction completed within 3 months of the memorandum of sale being issued, which is about average for a leasehold sale. The transaction also completed just before the expiry of stamp duty, which was an exceptionally busy time for conveyancers across the country. I apologise on behalf of the firm if we could have managed expectations better in this respect. We are reviewing our initial correspondence in view of your feedback to ensure future clients don't have the same experience. I also apologise if staff changes resulted in a lack of continuity.
