I have just completed my purchase of a flat in Newbury. Nikki and Simone really worked hard to get completion done by 31st March and saved me having to pay stamp duty. Communication and explanation of all the process was first class. Would definitely recommend Batt Broadbent. Tony ( happy client )
We used Batt Broadbent for buying our house. We decided to go for a local solicitors in the hope that the overall process would be quicker than with a larger national one and we couldn't have been more right. Due to our landlord selling our rental house whilst we were at the beginning of the house buying process, we had a time pressure of our rental contract potentially running out before we completed. We informed Batt Broadbent of this and from the start they were incredibly supportive and honest with their expectations of timelines. Although it was a tight timeline, they ensured that everything on our end went as quickly as possible and worked with the seller’s solicitors to ensure that our timeline was met – we completed with a week to spare! Nikki and Simone are absolutely brilliant! They got to know us and took us through each step as first time buyers. At every step, we were supported and knew we were in good hands. They were slightly more expensive in the fees than the bigger, national ones but this was reflected in the quality of service. In our circumstances, by meeting our timeline they saved us a lot of money in avoided storage, extra moving and temporary accommodation fees.
