Will Cadbury was brilliant from start to finish of my business sale. He work brilliantly to simplify what could be an overly complex process. We managed to complete the sale of the business from start to finish in just under 2 months which is brilliant given we had a few usual unexpected challenges. I would like to thank SME Solicitors, and particularly Rhiannon Edwards, for the excellent service provided during my recent house sale. There was a stumbling block around a planning consent issue, and Rhiannon used her extensive knowledge and experience to resolve the matter promptly and to the satisfaction of all parties. I would highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
I first used SME Solicitors in 1998 and since then they have completed all my conveyance requirements (several, both residential and commercial). All I can say is that SME and in particular, Rhiannon Edwards have always acted extremely efficiently whilst protecting my interests at all times, often working to challenging timescales. I used SME solicitors through strong recommendation from professional friends that are in the property business & SME have always been my parents solicitors – I was not disappointed. I had what I thought was going to be a difficult move, my chain had 4 properties in it, me being the end property. I also had another property that had to be sold before I could move on in my chain, it was all happening at the same time. Elizabeth Meddings was the solicitor dealing with both of my property chains, she was brilliant! We had our up’s & down’s in the whole process but due to her very professional approach, always being on hand to speak to & answering emails straight away she made it happen & all with very little stress for me & that is down to Liz for all the reasons above. I have also been dealing with some other matters with Gill Holder. Gill has a huge Knowledge on Wills, Probate & Power of attorney, I also got the same professional, prompt response to correspondence from her. I would not hesitate to recommend SME solicitors & there services to anyone.
Guy at SME provided valuable support when I was made redundant unexpectedly. He ensured important details of the agreement were checked / added and helped secure a mutually agreeable settlement. Overall he provided a fast, efficient and professional (approachable) level of service.

We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Jordan Oakes and the team at SME Solicitors. Made email contact on 23/02/26 with initial enquiry as instructed and checked by phone the next day to check. I was told it had been passed to one of their people who would call me back after they returned from lunch. It is now 13/03/26 and still no response……………….am I surprised…NO
