Victoria Stone

Our case hasn't completed yet, but I feel I need to let some positivity out right now considering how awful our chain is. I obviously won't go into details about why our chain has been so, so bad other than useless solicitors... but the only positive thing in this process was our choice of solicitor: Victoria Stone. Victoria is the only reason I have been remained semi sane. She has been put through her paces in this process and gone above and beyond. I never have to chase her or get stressed about her. Her professionalism and personable character has been a life saver in this process. She has been totally competent, dealing with issues that are ACTUALLY issues (unlike other solicitors in this chain), she responds in a timely manner and even more importantly is that she will listen to my rant every so often because this process has just been soul destroying. All I can say is that if we had had 5 lots of Victoria's in our chain, we would have moved into that house at the beginning of Summer, not 6 months later still wondering if we'll ever move. So Barkin and Kirby, you have a keeper there as I will, without a doubt recommend her to anyone and everyone. I chose Barcan + Kirby for my conveyancing on a recent property sale/purchase and it turned out to be an excellent decision. My specific conveyancer was Victoria Stone who did a brilliant job. The property transactions (especially the sale) turned out to be incredibly tricky, involving a difficult chain further down the line, time pressure due to mortgage expiry deadlines and a number of other constraints. There were multiple moments where I thought the entire deal would collapse, but Victoria completely saved the day. Her expertise, attention to detail, and sheer determination was invaluable in getting the transactions over the line. I was regularly updated with plenty of communication and all my questions were answered. She explained complex legal jargon in simple terms and always returned my emails promptly, which provided massive reassurance during an incredibly stressful time. What I truly valued was the persistence and determination shown. When obstacles arose from the other side, she helped find solutions and fought hard to protect my interests. Victoria worked to push the exchange and completion through against a tight deadline. I would highly recommend Victoria Stone and Barcan + Kirby as a conveyancer who is efficient, with great legal knowledge, and genuinely cares about getting you across the finish line. I am very grateful.

I have recently sold my property using Barcan + Kirby. Victoria Stone was responsible for overseeing my sale and I must say that Victoria did an excellent job of this for us. Our sale was not an easy process and I was probably not the easiest client to deal with (Apologies, Victoria!) but Victoria provided us with constant updates and worked tirelessly on a tight deadline to exchange and complete for us. Victoria knew the process inside out, we also felt that we were in good, knowledge hands with her and would have no doubt recommending her to others either.
