I am a Solicitor working in the Family and Child Care department under the supervision of Director Rupinder Jagdev. I am currently based in the Birmingham office. I have significant experience in both private and public family law matters. I assist with and have experience in handling domestic abuse cases. Particularly, I have a successful track record of securing: Emergency injunctions; Child Arrangement Orders; Prohibited Steps Orders; Specific Issue Orders; and Forced Marriage Protection Orders I also advise and assist with Special Guardianship Orders. I have conducted my own advocacy and have represented clients before Circuit Judges, Recorders, District Judges and Deputy District Judges. In respect of public family law matters, I primarily handle care proceedings. I have a wealth of experience dealing with Public Law Outline (PLO) Review meetings, Emergency Protection Orders, Care Orders and Supervision Orders. I have worked on serious cases including sexual abuse, non-accidental injuries, forced marriage and honour based violence where we have represented both parents (separately) and children. I attend pro bono surgeries to assist prospective clients and I have delivered training to professionals who support victims of domestic violence, and parents dealing with children related matters. I am passionate and always strive to attain the best results for my clients. I am a mentor on the University of Law Mentor Scheme program. Here, I assist students and prospective lawyers by providing guidance and support to them. I also maintain a legal page online dedicated to providing guidance to students pursuing a career in law. I have been a member of the Birmingham Trainee Solicitor Society and Women in Family Law. I am also part of the committee for Birmingham Solicitor’s Group I am fluent in Yoruba.

    I had amazing communication and my case was handled with the upmost respect, they was friendly and helpful. My lawyer made me feel confident and listened to all my concerns, I felt like I was listened to every conversation. Had no problem with phone calls, text and emails as I always got a quick response.
