I joined Devonalds Solicitors in November 2017 after working locally in the legal sector for almost 14 years. I qualified as a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2009 and specialise in all aspects of family law. I predominantly deal with private law cases representing parents and grandparents seeking orders in relation to child arrangements such as contact and where the child is to reside. I also assist clients who are going through a difficult period within their lives following a separation assisting them in all aspects of matrimonial proceedings such as divorce and resolving any financial issues as a result. I am approachable, sympathetic and understanding towards my clients who are facing a difficult time in their lives and try to make the situation they are in as stress free as possible.

The service I have had from Laura and the whole team at Devonalds has been excellent. This was a stressful time for me but during discussions everything was explained in a manner void of too much legal jargon and really put me at ease. I instructed Jodie Davies at Devonalds Solicitors for highly contentious financial remedy and child arrangements proceedings that lasted the best part of three years. From the outset, Jodie demonstrated exceptional professionalism, calm expertise, and — above all — unwavering integrity.
