I joined Duncan Lewis since 2021. I am currently a Caseworker in the City of London & Harrow Crime Team, working under the supervision of Director Sunjay Versani. During my time at University, I was part of the City University of London Law Society which gave me important early insight into criminal law. I was also part of the Albanian Society in which I was responsible for planning social events. Prior to joining Duncan Lewis I held positions of responsibility at a smaller criminal practice and with a law firm specialising in housing law. In my time at Duncan Lewis, I have dealt with a large variety of cases, both publicly and privately funded, and both in the Magistrates and Crown Courts. I am also now undertaking extradition cases and proceeds of crime work. I work closely with the firm’s senior lawyers, advocates as well as external counsel, silks and experts. Some of the cases that I have recently had successful outcomes and acquittals on concern offences such as sexual assault, grievous bodily harm, fraud and stalking. - R v J & S (November 2024) - R v G (October 2024) - R v P (March 2024) - R v MH (January 2023) - R v H (March 2023) - R v R (February 2024) In addition to the above, I am a fluent Albanian speaker.
