Darren Burleigh of Star Legal was fantastic. He was easy to chat to, clear and concise as to what the law is, what the evidence was and how best to present it to the court. He was open and honest about our chances and the probable costs of going to court, explaining our alternatives of a) pleading guilty and only having a sentencing hearing or b) pleading not guilty and going to trial. In court Darren handled our case brilliantly, some lawyers in court want to perform and show how clever they are, Darren showed how clever he is by not performing and being very aware of what was right for the defendant. I would definitely recommend Darren Burleigh.

Darren Burleigh of Star Legal represented our son for an elongated and upsetting criminal case that went to the crown court and the care he showed towards our son and us, his loving parents, at all stages of proceedings was absolutely first class. His counsel, knowledge, experience and gravitas were exceptional and we wouldn't have entrusted anyone else, literally our sons future and well being were in Darren's hands. 15 months after engaging Star Legal and several aborted attempts to commence the trial (due to issues outside the defence teams control) we finally got to trial and after a 3 day hearing, the jury returned a unanimous Not guilty verdict on all charges. We were very grateful to Darren and our sons wider legal defence team.
