We needed our wills updating, we had a number of matters to sort out including the severance of our joint tenancy. It was all dealt with in a timely and professional manner. We have already recommended Star Legal to other family.

They convinced my grandmother that she should name them as an executor in her WILL.
When she passed away they allocated a member of star legal to be the executor and that person has since been responsible for signing off on all expenses incured.
They have dragged the case out as long as they possobly could (currently over 3.5 years). They have also charged over £30k for acting as executors in an estate which was very small leaving next to nothing for the benificiaries.
I have made an official complaint to a guy called Phillip Hands and he has investigated and found no wrongdoing in the course of his investigation Deborah Morgan of Haverfordwest branch has flat out lied about what she has told me.
I now need to go through the legal ombudsman to complain further, the stress and hastle of this lenghty ordeal has seriously affected my mental health.
I feel like I have been stolen from by this company with absolutly nothing I could do about it as named executors I couldnt have them removed.
Please please stay away from this firm if you value your money and sanity!

I can’t recommend star legal Tiverton enough! Richard and Helle were amazing to deal with throughout the process of our new house purchase. This was not a normal house purchase with lots of time on our hands, this was an auction purchase with an extremely tight turn around time (with non negotiable completion date) at a very busy period for the property market (June 2021).
Richard and Helle kept us updated throughout and took away the stresses, going above and beyond to ensure we completed on time to meet our auction terms. Richard is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything clearly, he was able to keep our confidence throughout the process, despite some hurdles along the way out of his control! We are very happy we used Star Legal Tiverton and wouldn’t want to use anywhere else in the future.
