Nearly 3 weeks into managing my late mother's estate and I have still not received ANY updates from our estate manager. To make matters worse, there are 3 other executors stated on my mother's will, yet they seem totally powerless as this firm are holding all of the cards! To add injury to insult, this firm is charging a fee! I know we may be a small client to them but not replying to any of my 3 emails is very unprofessional and totally unacceptable. I called and spoke with Emily King, chasing her for an update, yet from her lack of response to my request for an update, I'd imagine she hasn't started yet even after promising she would! I have provided you with everything you need thus far, yet you have not come back to me or the other executors. Shocking service so far. My mother would be really upset if she knew we were being treated like this.

The POA for my brother began in April 2024is still being extremely badly handled after 2years 2 months. It’s now July 20th 2026 Many phone calls many, many emails then the complaints process. Missing paperwork untruths and incompetence! Followed by dxxxxxxxxx ( I’ve been told this isn’t a word to use. It’s not a swear word!) so I should write that I’m disappointed by the many complaints I have had to make. I still have unanswered questions and no refund as promised and no compensation for the stress they’ve caused and as they’ve promised. I believe they are screening my phone calls. Because they do not answer nor return my voice messages. But answer the phone to different phone numbers! I’ve been ill and by brother aged 75 with learning difficulties is ill in hospital. They will not speak to me on his behalf, yet they’ve done the power of attorney. Kept phoning so I had to arrange a time and go in my wheelchair to meet with my niece who brought David to tell them on the phone to speak to me. I was thinking it was about his compensation and refund. It was from the Will department asking if he wanted to review his Will! They’ve not apologised but said they will not contact me on my phone for him again. Is that why they’re not answering my calls??? My BP And anxiety levels are sky high. This is supposed to avoid stress by having a POA . Also the reviews on Trustpilot are mostly very negative. I will be posting this on Trustpilot too

My wife and I had an issue finding an original will. The Will was held by a solicitors who closed down . I was lucky enough to call the Simpsons Westbury on Trym office and deal with Tracy (surname withheld ) and all I can say is that she has been fantastic. It’s taken a while to obtain the Will but without the calm, professional and tenacious support of Tracy I feel that we would still be struggling . What an excellent and knowledgeable person to have on your side when a stressful event is happening . Simpsons you should be very proud to have such an amazing employee. 👍👍

Right probate Derby, what a nightmare Firm and avoid for your own sake. I was told probate for my late Fathers estate would take 4-16 weeks at a cost of just under 4000 pounds, 14 months later at a cost of 5,600 pounds and numerous mistakes and a total lack of empathy, and thankfully the nightmare is over. Look elsewhere and keep clear of this firm, the lack of care has been extremely disappointing

This website is biased and in my opinion does not reflect the true behaviour that RightProbate (RLG) has exhibited in the 14 month long ordeal my brother and I have been put through by them, concerning probate for my late father's estate. An ordeal that shares many of the dire experiences had by others who have provided a poor rating on this website. Indeed, if you want to get a true picture of how RightProbate performs, I strongly suggest you search for "rightlegalgroup" on Trustpilot and note the significant and disproportionate numbers of bad reviews!!! Something isn't 'right' with RightProbate!!!

They don’t even deserve a star. Probably the worst business entity I have ever dealt with. Not just solicitor, I would sooner spend an hour on the phone with Virgin Media then ever deal with RightLegalGroup/Simpsons again. My late father engaged their services in 2023 for lasting power of attorney for him and my mum, July 2026 and my mums has just been finalised. Spelling mistakes, wrong dates of birth, wrong addresses, no communication, they eventually panicked when they didn’t meet their own complaints policy’s and I was going to escalate to the ombudsman. They were fully going to turn up with paperwork for my deceased dad to sign despite them also dealing with his probate and will. Broken promises all the way through and eventually refunded the minimum % they could “in accordance with ombudsman’s guidelines” no human consideration, no formal apology, given. An absolute disgrace of a company who I would recommend avoiding. Plenty of reviews tell similar stories. Avoid avoid avoid.
