I originally intended to leave only a rating, but after seeing the accusations made about me, I feel it’s necessary to explain why I left a one‑star review. My experience with Atif has been extremely unpleasant. When a client disagrees with him, he becomes condescending and hostile, and in my case, he made statements that I believe are unfair and damaging. I was accused of misusing funds, even though I made it clear, repeatedly at that, that once the landlord paid what he owed to him, I would make a one‑off payment to close the matter and avoid further contact. I later discovered that a private arrangement had allegedly been made between Atif and the landlord for the landlord to repay a £9,000 debt at £50 per month. I contacted Atif directly to clarify this, and instead of transparency, I was met with hostility. As a legal professional, he should understand the seriousness of making accusations without evidence. For the record, I have not used a single penny of the amount the landlord owes him. Due to the behaviour I experienced — including the tone of communication, the accusations, and the lack of trust created by undisclosed discussions — I chose to withhold the funds until the landlord completed his payments. This was communicated clearly. I was also told by another legal professional thatthe CCJ amount could be amended, yet Atif insisted it could not. This contradiction added to my concerns. The landlord is now attempting eviction, which appears to be connected to his reluctance to pay what he owes. Throughout this process, I have been transparent: I intended to collect the portion of the award that belonged to me and pay Atif what he was due. The repeated calls and messages every business day, despite my explanations, made the situation even more stressful. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service.
