We have now used Beeston Shenton on two occasions, firstly for the purchase of our previous home and more recently for both the sale of that property and the purchase of our new home. On both occasions, the service has been excellent. The team have been professional, responsive and incredibly helpful throughout, always keeping us informed and taking the time to explain things clearly. Our most recent move came with its fair share of complications and some particularly tight deadlines, but the team worked tirelessly to keep everything moving and get us over the line. Their communication, attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made a real difference during what can be a stressful process. Having now trusted Beeston Shenton with three property transactions, we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional conveyancing solicitor. After spending thousands with a previous solicitor who I instructed through CAB, who were not fit for purpose to deal with my divorce to the end, which ended up going on for 8 years. Seriously 8 years. I ditched my previous solicitor and found Beeston Shenton, which was a well known name. Who took around 5 months to sort out my mess of a divorce and get it over the line. To say it's been a rollercoaster of emotions is an understatement. So in the short time frame Paul had to finalise my divorce he was fantastic. Professional and did not mess about playing games sending unnecessary emails, getting into petty arguments with the other side. Paul just did what he does best. Also thanks to Ella and the reception team who again were all very professional at their job. Which is all I could ask for.

Will never go with these solicitors again. In fact they have put us off ever moving. There is no communication, I constantly had to ring up and email asking for updates, I’d receive no replies, told someone would get back to me and they wouldn’t so I’d have to chase up again. The fees said one thing and then they charged us way extra but because it was a phone call we were told the original price, we had no proof. I was constantly having to push them to actually do things. There was no chain involved yet nobody seemed like they could be bothered to do anything. I kept expressing the urgency in the end to move but once again, they weren’t bothered. Then finally a date was set. We had moving vans ready, things ready to be delivered, booked the day off work and were up early and loaded the car. We hadn’t heard from them though all morning so I ring up, they hadn’t even bothered to start the process that day. Our mortgage advisor wasn’t hopeful it was going to go ahead as the solicitors once again, hadn’t bothered to release the funds or whatever it is they do. We received no apology, nothing. I ended up in tears from the stress. Funnily enough though the solicitors were eager to take the money we owed them and the extra they had added on. A process that was meant to be exciting as it was out first house way nothing but stressful and ruined the whole experience. NEVER EVER use these solicitors.

Sophie prepared our wills. She was very thorough, explained the process clearly and was very prompt in her response. An excellent service!
