I recently found myself at risk of totting up 12 points and expecting the worst outcome of a driving license ban . I saw that Patterson offered free legal advice online and was given advice via tel and email by Rachel Saunders.almost immediately I really appreciated speaking and linking with a legal expert who helped me understand my options and explained clearly the process I was likely to face. It helped me at the time move forward with some decision making. It was very helpful being able to get free advice.

I engaged Patterson Law but, following an initial consultation, no longer needed their services. I appreciated that I had agreed to a fixed fee and that, under their terms, they were entitled to decline my request for a partial refund. However, they kindly agreed to charge only for the time spent on my case, which I felt was a very fair and professional approach. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Extremely Disappointing Service – Save Your Money I contacted Patterson Law following a speeding offence that put me at risk of a driving ban. As the owner of a construction company, losing my licence would have devastating consequences for my business, employees, family and finances. I was assured they could assist me with an exceptional hardship application. I paid just under £2,000 and spent considerable time preparing substantial evidence demonstrating the impact a ban would have on myself and others. However, on the day of court, I was incredibly disappointed. From my perspective, the solicitor representing me simply handed my evidence to the court. I witnessed no meaningful attempt to argue my case or actively defend me in the way I had expected. I subsequently received a six-month driving ban, which has had severe financial and operational consequences. My business is struggling, my livelihood has been affected, and I am now facing serious financial difficulties. My experience felt like I had paid nearly £2,000 for an administrative service rather than legal representation. I could have submitted the paperwork myself and saved the money. I appreciate that no solicitor can guarantee a successful outcome, but I expected someone to actively fight my corner, not simply pass on documents I had prepared myself. I would strongly advise anyone considering Patterson Law to think twice. Based on my experience, I would not recommend their services.
