From start to finish the process was professional, robust, and managed superbly by Emma. On the house purchase side there was a relatively short timescale from the Offer through to Completion of about 8 weeks. It couldn't have gone any more smoother than it did, thanks to Emma's constant communications, updates, excellent advice and explanations and guidance with all of the paperwork, etc. On Completion day for both the sale and the purchase, again the process and communication was second to none, so a big thank you to Sue as well for making that happen expertly. A great team all round who are all friendly, helpful, approachable and professional. We have used GWCA in the past as well, and if needed in the future we will use again. 100% Recommended

I initially rang GWCA after my aunt died as BBMW (Burnand Brazier Malcolm Wilson) drew up her will and were named, alongside me and two other parties, as executors. Initially, they told me it would be better if I found a solicitor local to me. Then, as I was searching for an alternative probate solicitor, they changed their minds. With the exception of the provision of their (considerable) fee quotation, there was a distinct lack of communication and/or guidance all the way through the probate process. There were inaccuracies with paperwork and, shockingly, attempts were made to close bank accounts (now in my uncle’s sole name), which needed to remain open! I did a lot of legwork I would have expected this firm to do myself. When probate was granted I was not informed and only discovered this by chance 4 months later as no one thought to let me know! GWCA’s only saving grace was reducing their fee to an amount somewhat more proportionate to the actual work they had put in.

Very professional and kept me informed of progress.

Lost important documents that were taken in to the office by hand for speed and to save them getting lost in post, ironically!

Was very pleased with the whole process would definitely recommend

Great experience working with GWCA to secure our first home. We were dealing with Amanda and Macy who were both lovely. We were due to be kicked out of our rental on a date close to the estimated completion time which was quite stressful. Amanda and Macy went the extra mile to get contracts exchanged and completed in a short period of time so that we could seamlessly move straight from our rental to house purchase.
