At a sad time the solicitor was empathetic and clear, easing my anxieties and giving me confidence that probate would be a very straightforward process. Heather was able to explain the role of the executor and gave me reassurance to consider decisions re my late mother's estate. She was always very prompt and helpful in her communications. Last year I was involved in a probate settlement with my brother that had stalled with legal representation. I contacted Hart Reade in Eastbourne and after a meeting with Sebastian he quickly assessed the situation and set a plan to work towards resolution. I then continued to deal with Coral who organised the conveyancing for our property. Everything was quickly and efficiently handled. A job well done!

Mr Benson is doing my mothers probate, we saw him in early January and he said it would be 6 to 8 weeks. We've heard nothing. So for the last 3 weeks we have been ringing, just for an update. We've rung 5 or 6 times and not one person can give us any information and not one person has called us back. 24 hrs ago I complained to the office manager who still hasn't called me back. We are a grieving family and the way you are ignoring us and refusing to give us any information, is now becoming upsetting. Its both rude and unprofessional and I dont know what to do??

After several poor experiences with other Solicitors, we were delighted to find a very satisfactory service provided by Hart Reade. They handled the re-writing of joint Wills for us, and we found them to be very accessible, very professional, pleasant and helpful to deal with. Their offices in Hailsham are excellent and there is easy parking nearby.

I cannot praise too highly the professional help and guidance that I have received from Hart Reade Solicitors over many years - in particular Laura Mitchell who handled, always sensitively and efficiently, legal matters relating to my late husband's Estate and also the updating of Wills.

We wanted to write our Wills and needed help. Laura walked us through the whole procedure with no fuss. We had to take a break for personal reasons but there was no pressure to complete. Everything seemed so easy. We would certainly recommend her services again.
