🚨🚨‼️Overpromise and underdeliver springs to mind. Palmers got their own Trust Deed wrong, initially stood by the incorrect figures when challenged, and only corrected them after further pushback. I am referring to important and sensitive info. It also seems their departments don’t communicate with each other, leaving clients to pick up the pieces. To top it off, the complaint took longer than promised and was ultimately dismissed despite Palmers admitting they’d introduced a new procedure to prevent similar issues (?!) whilst not upholding that there was a service issue?! .Extremely poor service from start to finish which is a shame as Palmers were once a reliable firm, it's no a shame that the firms reliable conveyancing solictors are no longer. Amy T and Katharyn O'Brien's handling of the matter is inadequate.

Disappointing experience with Palmers As a first-time buyer, I was told by my estate agent that Palmers was the only option I had, so I trusted their advice. Unfortunately, when my house purchase fell through, I lost a significant amount of money in legal fees, even though I did not successfully buy the property. The whole process was new to me, and I was not aware that other solicitors offer no-sale, no-fee options that can help avoid such a financial loss. Losing so much money over a purchase that never happened was extremely frustrating. I would strongly advise other first-time buyers to research their options, compare solicitors, and carefully check all fees and cancellation terms before committing. Don't assume you have to use the solicitor recommended by your estate agent.

Have just used Palmers for my recent house move and had both James and Erin working on my case, both were easily reachable and informative on how we were progressing. We didn't give them an easy timeframe to work with due to unforseen circumstances but they really put the work in when it mattered and got us completed on time. Avoid This Firm Almost six months into a no-chain sale and we are no closer to completion. What should have been a straightforward transaction has turned into months of unnecessary delay, poor communication, and a complete lack of urgency. The bar for conveyancing competence is not particularly high, yet Palmers Law and Kay Hales in particular have somehow managed to fall well below it.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE trying to sell my flat. If I could have given zero I would have. I instructed Palmer's solicitors in the first week in March, my property sale completed in mid September. While this in some cases is not abnormal, my buyer had no chain and in the May my purchase had failed through and therefore I had no chain as the sale was still to go ahead. So this timeline felt obscenely long. They made errors on documents where the information had been sent to them weeks of not months prior. Trying to get a response via phone or e mail is impossible (they seem to constantly be on annual leave with no one covering) and when you do get through via the phone they don't have a clue what's happening and always say 'i will chase that up' for literally weeks on the same topic. I actually ended up calling my buyer and his solicitors to see what the hold up was on something Palmer's stated they had sent, they had in fact not received this document. This was an unnecessarily painful experience for what should have been a simple sale yet they seem to take on so many clients they can't handle them. If you're happy for your sale or purchase to go at a glacial pace then you've found your people because lord knows they don't do anything fast, or even a normal speed, in my experience. Avoid this and go with literally any other firm, literally ANYONE would be better than these so called professionals.
