As a first time buyer, I had no clue what I was getting into and I found eveything from the onboarding app, to receiving documentation via law connect, to completing and post completion instructions clear and concise. The Secretaries and Paralegals were supportive, the Conveyancer clear and comprehensive, and the Solicitor incredibly kind. I received prompt responses, and whilst I did occasionally need to prompt for chasers, I found my questions were dealt with swiftly. I felt like I received tailored advice, and clear options, and was kept informed about next steps. I would highly recommend.

I’ve used Alexander JLO several times over the years — from buying my first flat, to remortgaging my Help to Buy, and most recently selling my flat and buying my house. Each time they’ve been efficient, highly professional, and incredibly easy to contact. Their communication has always been excellent, with emails usually responded to within a few hours, which really takes the stress out of the process. They also provide competitive quotes and, in my experience, it’s not always worth going with the cheapest option. When I once tried to remortgage my Help to Buy using a cheaper solicitor, they did a lot of the work but ultimately couldn’t complete the transaction as they weren’t on the bank’s panel. Alexander JLO stepped in and completed everything within a matter of weeks. They’ve consistently been on top of things, and I’d absolutely use them again

We had a very time-sensitive purchase and honestly I don’t think we would have completed on time without Taslima and the team at Alexander JLO. From the start, Taslima was patient, calm and always kept things moving. Towards completion there were a lot of delays and unanswered enquiries from the other side and at one point it really felt like our completion date might fall through, but she kept chasing and pushing things forward until we finally got the keys. Buying a property is stressful anyway, but doing it with a small child and a very fixed moving date made it even more intense. I really appreciated how responsive and reassuring everyone was throughout the process. Even before Taslima took over the matter, everyone I spoke to at the firm was professional and helpful.
