I used Aticus Law (Joshua O'Connor/ Pooja Bhavsar) Manchester office as my solicitors for the purchase of a new-build apartment. It has now been almost three years since completion, but the title deed for the property has still not been obtained. During the first approximately 18 months, I received occasional replies saying that the delay was due to HMRC. After around 1.5 years, however, my emails stopped receiving any response at all. I have continued to contact the firm requesting an update, but have not received a substantive response since last year. I am disappointed not only by the length of the delay, but particularly by the lack of communication and follow-up. I am now having to consider what further steps I can take to resolve the matter.

Having sold the property in a lesser conventional way, and with no previous interaction with Aticus I entered the process feeling a little apprehensive. However, my initial worries were quickly dispelled. The Conveyancing Solicitor, Milena Brunt, quickly won my trust and confidence, and throughout the entire process was personable, very helpful and professional. Milena provided invaluable advice in many areas, is an excellent communicator, and made a renowned stressful time seem lesser so. She fully delivered everything as specified, and achieved sales completion on the target date. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Rachel Ward was an absolute star. Throughout the toughest time of my life she was always at the end of the phone when I needed her. Her deep understanding of the legal system, coupled with her honesty and warmth was exactly what I needed. She was always one step ahead and took care of all of the complexities that I just didn't have the strength or head space for.
