Let, me introduce myself,I am at 63 year old male with an wife of 25 years and an daughter of 18. We all reside in Barnsley South Yorkshire, please don’t hold that against us as I was supporting the Manchester side in the latest cricket final at Lords in the hundred and yes an older parent. Both myself and my family have never been in trouble with the police or any other authorities other than speeding tickets and parking. On 31/5/25 on an family trip to London to see an show and sightseeing at Leicester Square underground to Waterloo both myself and my family where involved in an incident with another family I won’t go into too much details regarding the incident only to say that 6 months and 3 days after just before Xmas we received via post an serious allegations from the other party with dates to attend London Magistrates Court. Panic really did set in, the upshot of it all was that no local criminal solicitors in my home town or any other solicitor surrounding area Leeds, Sheffield would even look at the case and basically was dismissive of myself and my family The British Transport Police was of the same opinion. I was introduced to David via an family friend in Blackburn,David practices for Forbes Solicitors at various officers at Preston Lancashire. David and his team contacted myself and my family through out December and the Xmas period even including New Years Eve Throughout the 9 months leading up to the trial both David and such an hard working Lady Sarah now just did what they do professionally they was always there on the end of the phone no matter what time of day or time. Even in myself and family darkest hours Both was there in some capacity. I cannot imagine the toil and hours,days that these special individuals put into to represent me There will never be enough Thanks from myself and my family to these persons and with such professionalism ,Danielle the final piece in the Jigsaw who handled the case in London This trio where second to none no doubt there was other individuals in the Forbes institution which all contributed to my case. My advice to anyone who reads this testimony, is that the recommendation of Forbes Solicitors should be a priority to anyone who as injustice situations. Communication and correspondence has been outstandin,so very happy.

Disgrace of a firm, these solicitors where chosen to act on behalf of together housing association in regards to selling my share of my shared ownership property, essentially just the middle man from my buyers solicitors and my solicitor. Whole process took 5 months because response times where nothing short of a disgrace. Case handler Claire wouldn’t speak to me because I wasn’t the client even tho I was having to pay the final bill so surely I am the client? So after 5 months of very poor service they then had the cheek to send me a bill of £2775 and my buyer a bill of around £700!! For doing literally nothing! They were just the middle man!! I paid my other 2 solicitors just over that total amount combined who had to do all the usual conveyancing bits and pieces. I had to ask my solicitor to double check that Claire hadn’t fell onto a calculator and just thought “that’ll do” £2775!!? Wow When challenged on the amount the response was a snapshot of some small print in my shared ownership lease stating a charge of up to 1.5% or some croc and bull, so basically they charged that because they can. So thanks for robbing me blind and thanks again for a terrible service. Stay well clear of Forbes

Where do I start from being to end incompetent told witness statement wasn't inprotent by a teenager collage girl working there very little confidence in my barrister changing statements without in informing me ..on day off trial no evidence prosecution approach my barrister asking if id take a less charge...wow must think I was guilty of a crime..I'm 100% they are in bed with the prosecution STAY CLEAR OF THIS SOLICITORS IF YOU NOT WILL GO TO PRISON
