Having been turned away by 3 big solicitor firms in Hereford based on Broad Street, one of which had been my Uncles solicitor for many years, (they refused to help him to witness his signature on a Court of Protection document). I was incredibly grateful, and relieved, to finally receive professional and courteous service from Kidwells Solicitors. We got an appointment on the day that I first contacted them. Everyone was very polite and treated us respectfully, which should not be a surprise, but it was after the dealings we had with the other 3 solicitors offices. The Kidwells Solicitors offices are easy to find, just outside Hereford on the Industrial Estate. Parking is easy, and close to the offices, which are on the ground floor, easily accessible for my uncle who has mobility issues. Michael Horne was patient with us, and took time, being very kind and understanding. I don't usually write reviews - but sometimes you meet someone who deserves recognition and praise for how professionally they conduct themselves. Mr Horne will now be our go to solicitor for everything. Thank you for restoring our faith that day and helping us with what was a simple matter, but had caused my elderly Uncle a great deal of distress.

I was six month pregnant when Michael took my case and him and his team made things as easy as possible for me and got me the best possible outcome in court. He explained everything to me clearly so I would understand and was always happy to talk over email or phone to discuss any worries I had. Not only is Michael the best at what he does he is a genuinely a very nice man.

Tianna is currently supporting us through buying a property in Bristol. She is incredibly professional & supportive and her communication level is exceeeding expectations. We receive a reply often within minutes. She supports her clients and navigates the process with the other solicitors on our behalf to a standard you'd wish for when buying a property. And trust me I am not being naively positive, as the solicitor team for the house we are selling is getting a different review (entirely different solicitor company). So in summary, Thank you Tianna! And everyone else book her when you can :)

Spoke to a lovely, friendly and honest solicitor called Michael Horne at Kidwells solicitors today. Provided me to direct and clear information advising me before instructing any solicitor involvement to check my car insurance and home insurance for legal cover to contact them to see if they can help. If my insurances dont cover this he advised me to contact him back and provided his mobile number and advised me on offer he could do to help me and being a qualified mechanic which in relation to what my enquiry was about was very reassuring. I felt so daunted calling different solicitor companies unsure what questions to ask and how much this was going to cost me etc. Michael put my mind at rest and gave me hope. Thank you very much Michael and I would recommend anyone to call Kidwells solicitors if you have any legal query and they will point you in the right direction and give you support and reassurance in a very daunting time.

I’m giving Kidwells two stars, both of those stars were earned by individuals, one by Alan and one by Tianna. Without their efforts, I would have given zero stars if I could! Honestly, I don’t know where the 5-star reviews for Kidwells come from. My experience with them was nothing but stress, chaos and delays! 1. The app – completely useless The app was, in my experience, practically pointless. It was rarely updated and the information shown was often inaccurate or unclear. You have no way of knowing whether someone has actually picked up your messages or documents, which makes the whole process even more frustrating. 2. Communication – extremely poor Communication was one of the biggest problems. You hardly ever receive any meaningful updates unless you make a million phone calls. When you do call, you are usually asked to leave a message because the person you are trying to reach is never available and, more often than not, nobody calls you back! That one star I’m giving to Alan is because he genuinely tried to improve the situation and repair the relationship. He was proactive in trying to address our concerns and was the one person who seemed to understand how frustrating the experience had become. Unfortunately, his efforts could not overcome the wider problems we experienced. 3. Overall chaos and lack of organisation Emails apparently cannot be found, documents that have already been provided are requested again, and complaints are not properly acknowledged or dealt with. We provided all the relevant paperwork in May, yet the same documents were requested again in July! This left us wondering what, if anything, had actually been done with our case during those two months. To make matters even more stressful, our case was reassigned to a different conveyancer, Tianna, only two days before completion. Despite having to pick up a complicated case at extremely short notice, Tianna managed to get on top of everything and ultimately finalised the sale and got the transaction over the line - the second star in my review is entirely for her. I am an experienced trader and have bought and sold several properties over the past few years and have dealt with a number of conveyancing firms. In my honest opinion Kidwells was by far the worst conveyancing experience I have ever had! Buying or selling a property is stressful enough without having to constantly chase your solicitor, wonder what is happening with your transaction, resend documents and receive little or no communication. Unfortunately, despite efforts from Alan and Tianna, based on my overall experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you are considering using Kidwells for conveyancing.

1 star but 0 would be more appropriate. When conveyancing for a family member Kidwells communication and obvious lack of care when dealing with files and the client was shocking . At one point ,after over a month of one sided emails and threats from the vendor to pull out, someone outside the team contacted my family member and reassured them that they would ensure communication improved as it was something they prided themselves on after admitting that they had dropped the ball and that my family member had fallen through the cracks. Two weeks later they had not followed up. They had asked on more than one occasion for documents that had already been shared with them and alarmingly even told the family member that they should consider getting a survey at the end of August when a survey with pertinent questions had been sent to them at the end of June - suggesting once again the file had not been read properly . At over three months with a no chain property and prompt answers from the vendors solicitor and the client the sale had still not moved forward. The final straw was this week when no apology was sent from KS for not realising- after the family member pointed this out - that a) there was nothing outstanding left on the file b) they already had the survey c ) that the client was receiving more information from the estate agent than them that they said they would endeavour to get the report to the client by the end of the week - OF COURSE and sadly predictably this did not happen. As of yet the client and the vendor are being held in the lurch at their own expense by the incompetency of thus firm who I quote “ prides themselves on their communication”

Very helpful and professional in an initial business discussion. I would definitely recommend contacting Kidwell relating to contractual business issues.
