This was my first time both purchasing a property and using a solicitor, Watkins solicitors was one of 3 recommended to me by my mortgage broker that he had dealt with previously. I went with Watkins due to the very positive reviews I had read on Google. I'm very pleased that I did as my experience was just an easy process for purchasing a property in a chain, no question seemed like it was silly to ask and the solicitor assigned to my case Morgan was very quick to respond to my questions. Overall I'm very pleased with how the process has been and I'm confident in both recommending both Watkins solicitors and Morgan.

For me it was such an odd concept of not meeting your solicitor for somthing as big as a house purchase, but Morgan has made the whole process painfree. Has been quick to respond both by email and phone. Has given us great advice and resolved any concerns we had swifty. We couldnt have asked for a better experience as first time buyers.

We had a poor experience with Watkins Solicitors in Bristol during our house purchase. We were passed between several solicitors, emails were often sent to only one of us, and we often heard key updates from the sellers before our own solicitors. Documents were disorganised, the client app was never updated, and when we asked for clearer guidance, responses became curt. After completion, we raised a formal complaint, but Watkins Solicitors rejected every concern and accepted no responsibility. A disappointing and stressful process — not recommended for first-time buyers or anyone wanting professional, attentive service.

We highly recommend Morgan should you need a conveyancing solicitor. We instructed Watkins Solicitors approximately 7 weeks ago for the sale of our house and the purchase of our next property. We have recently purchased a house in Hereford. From the outset our purchase was not the usual - we were returning from France after more than 20 years. In addition we had quite an ambitious target for completion. Rebecca (Wilkinson) willingly took on the challenge and provided much needed help and assurance at all stages of the process even when we were faced with really stressful issues regarding currency exchanges and limitations on the movement of funds. The whole process was handled efficiently and professionally with Rebecca keeping us informed at all stages. I highly recommend this Solicitors..as they were incredibly committed and super supportive to disability rights issues. They helped us navigate our way through overly complex Local Council’s SEND services and their interpretation of policies and procedures, thus rendering my son to exercise his right to College transportation (POST 16). The legal advocacy that Watkins Solicitors provides is second to none. Whilst a seasoned parent of SEND issues, I have like many others, been consistently bamboozled by the very institutions that should be empowering and Safeguarding Send Young Adults and have really appreciated the support during this distressing and uncertain period. Consequently my son now has the opportunity to reconvene with the very service that provides independence for him to and from College. The team were so consistent and committed to getting the best outcome for my son that I found their legal insight very inspiring and utterly supportive. They also saved my house on another occasion for my son’s future. I can honestly say they have saved our lives, and are brilliant disability advocates!
I can 100% recommend Watkins Solicitors. Louise Price is absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond in my case. She was very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and answered every question swiftly that i had related to my case. Louise was supportive and understanding in a professional manner and involved me in every aspect of my case. Louise has been fantastic in the support and advice during the process from the first meeting up until closing the case at court. Avoid ! Beverly Watkins advised us to accept a non molestation order despite being innocent to save on court fees. I was later falsely accused of breaching the order which has lead to two arrests and 24 hours in a police cell with no charge made, not Beverly’s fault there but I was NOT advised that I wouldn’t be entitled to legal aid having accepting the order through Beverly’s advice. She was aware that I was going to court to try and gain access to my daughter and all of this has hugely gone against me especially with not being able to afford legal representation. I was later advised by separate legal firms that I should never have accepted the order.
Watkins solicitors and in particular Louise Price were excellent in every way. Louise was not only extremely knowledgeable and efficient but personable, kind and supportive throughout what was a difficult time. She gave comfort, confidence and reassurance at all stages and in the court room was a strong, calm and caring guide. She did her job brilliantly and without fault. We would highly recommend Watkins solicitors as a business and also Louise. Thank you.
