I had an amazing experience with Lauren throughout the whole process. She kept me up-to-date very regularly and there was great communication whenever I needed her advice or help. I Would 100% recommend to anybody who needed a conveyancer. Being a first time buyer it’s daunting but Lauren took control of everything and made the whole process of such ease. On the whole any dealings I had with anybody at David Barney were all very friendly, polite and super helpful.

Mark has helped me purchase two properties now and both times the process has been seamless from start to finish. Very helpful and proactive in chasing things along. We’ve never had a situation where things have been held up on our end (sadly can’t say the same for other parties solicitors in the chain!). Would highly recommend him and will use in the future. Would also say the same for Beverly on the sale-side. It was the first time I’d sold a property and her help and guidance (and speed) was very helpful and appreciated. Sam also did a fantastic job along with all of the other staff that we came in to contact with along the way.

Had a sale & purchase dealt with, & especially impressed with the work done even before I'd had or made an offer, as it meant we were ready to go. A pity not all the legal firms were as switched on.

lauren and others within this company collaboratively worked together to help purchase our first property. they were punctual on responses, helpful on any queries and explained anything we didn’t quite understand and was patient when we signed a few things wrong here and there. the initial quote was near enough the same, by memory, and good value for money i found when comparing other services. i preferred that they were local and had a physical office so i could drop off documents without delay. beverly was particularly helpful upon lauren's annual leave, and for the initial quote, as i was concerned things would be delayed but NO, they’ve made it all a smooth process as can be when purchasing a house! all in all, we were pretty much in within 8 weeks - which is impressive to me. i would recommend this company to anyone else.

I cannot recommend D&B Solicitors highly enough! I recently purchased my first home through them, and although we were incredibly unlucky to have two previous purchases fall through through no fault of our own, Lauren was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. Lauren held my hand every step of the way, always keeping me informed, answering all of my questions and making what could have been an extremely stressful experience feel so much easier and more manageable. Her professionalism, attention to detail and genuine commitment to helping us were outstanding. I chose David Barney & Company to complete the legal elements of selling my late mother's property. From quote to completion, the process was simple. Lauren was great with her communication and it was refreshing to have such clear advice for completing the paperwork. Lauren was quick to respond to any queries and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Dealing with probate and property sale has been quite difficult but she really eased this as much as she could. I am very grateful for Lauren's help. I would definitely recommend David Barney and in particular Lauren.

Ignore any poor reviews, these guys are fantastic - Lauren Jarmain-Chew in particular. Incredibly efficient and professional, and a completely different experience to my last house purchase. I never had to chase them to get something done, which I didn't know was possible with a conveyancer! Would highly recommend.
