Approached Manak Solicitors as they have recently taken on another firm who is handling a probate matter for me. It seemed sensible to also use them to sell a house that formed part of the estate. They were professional from the outset. Excellent service from Lorna, Rebecca and George who handled this case. There was much correspondence between them and the sellers solicitors which was handled well. In many cases when I thought that things had stalled, they were quietly getting on with the job. Recommended.

GOOD TO KNOW. PENNY PINCHING EXSPENSIVE MISTAKE We are almost 80 years of age and have a pending inheritance of almost 4 million pounds. Our personal assets are at least 3 million. I called Manak Solicitors Orpington on 19 November 2024 at 14.02 and spoke to a lady to arranged a brief introductionary chat to discuss probate of the deceased,his wifes unfinished probate plus wills, trusts, LPA and future probate for us. I was advised 30 minutes would cost 150 pounds plus I presume vat. I hesitated and was advised in a no uncertain manner that everyone charges now. I contacted Kings Court Trust, they sent a rep to OUR HOUSE FREE. We instructed them. Firstly you have insulted me to believe I'm nieve and stupid enough to believe this unjustified bull s, do you treat all your clients like this? I suggest the person who wrote this pathetic reply should be severely reprimanded Which world do you live in, you would moan at a fiver for cup of coffee but feel quite justified to charge me 300 pounds an hour to introduce me to your business. Talk about added value, i cant imagine the penny pinching extras that also may be added to a case. What makes your profession so different to any other skilled job justifying taking these outrageous liberties? Non i repeat non of the work i required was in any way specialised, some if not all i can do myself if i wanted, its run of the mill  lpa. trusts and probates which should come as second nature to you. I cant fix a car but local a mechanic can but they dont take me to ransom. No wonder the boss had a new Aston Martin

I phoned about 10 solicitors in East Sussex and Kent to get a Statutory Declaration signed and Manak Solicitors were the only solicitors willing and able to do it. Excellent service, and extremely professional . Thank you Jas 🙏
