Two years and still no conclusion.

I was injured in a rta early October 21 which the other party admitted liability for. I had a remote medical report in November 2021 and I was sufficiently recovered in January 2022 to start my claim for compensation. It was submitted through the OIC portal (SCNF) and then things went dead after many emails and messages from myself. I was told that my handler hand left Carpenters employment and I had been left in limbo. I was then I was transferred to a new handler. The new handler found that my claim had been submitted through the wrong portal. (None of the facts changed). So a year was wasted. I was then transferred to a handler that dealt with the MOJ portal. In February 2023 my claim was resubmitted through the MOJ portal and things went dead again after entering a written complaint I was told that my handler was on maternity leave and I had again been left in limbo. I was then transferred to another handler. I was asked to submit some photos of the scaring caused by the accident in June 23, which I submitted promptly and it took until October 23 for Carpenters to “update” the medical report which, when it arrived, was unchanged. During this protracted process I have sent many emails asking for information about the progress of my case the majority of these Emails have been ignored. I have tried to contact Carpenters Law on the phone but if I managed to get through I have been told that my case handler will contact me which fails to happen.

2 Years Since The Accident & still waiting...........

I can't imagine a worse experience being possible, If I could have given 0 stars I would have.
Waiting for hours on the phone only to be cut off, changing contacts ( I can't us the word solicitor ) & being asked for information that has already been sent x 3 previously.

If you are ever in an accident & your insurance company say " We've passed your detail to Carpenters" say " No thanks, get me anyone else"

How to car accident 2 years and a month ago carpet is solicitors have handed my file between four different caseworkers never moving any further forward being a serving soldier having to pay premium rate car insurance is when the accent was proven to be no fault of my own can't get closure can't get hold of anybody and it sat in complete dire straits worst company I've ever experienced and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy they don't take it seriously they treat all accidents like it was a joke no sense of urgency don't complete and do the work correctly I now have the higher car company coming to me looking to turn take me to court for my higher car charges which was a part of my insurance don't know where to go don't know what to turn do feeling very trapped maybe I need to take this to the papers with the headline serving soldier no fault car accident being left in limbo by carpenters group for two years with no sign of any closure no litigation complete and hasn't made it to court due to incompetency

I WOULD NOT recommend!!@!

I would of given them 0 stars if I could. I can't telephone them due to my disabilities so have to email. I have emailed and emailed for updates at least 6 times every month. My case was closed over a month ago and still NO correspondence of them!!!! I would NOT recommend them!

Terrible company

Absolutely despicable company. Had accident back in July. Ended up with a claim handler called Ben King. Get an email every few months asking for information I have already submitted 3 times. No updates, no contact, despite emailing several times a week over last few months still no replies or updates.
I'll now look at taking this further and look in to a governing body or ombudsman to start a complaints procedure. If you have an accident and your insurance company instructs Carpenters Group then refuse, you will not get updates, no one will call you, you will be on the phone for hours and never speak to anyone you need to. Absolutely joke of a firm, as of today still waiting for an update, no further forward then I was on December 12. Choose any other firm then these. I'll leave a similar review on Trust Pilot to warn more people of this firm and its employees. All this does is add stress to an already stressful experience.
