I was told over the phone that they only deal with cases over £50k when litigation is involved and that crypto was different, it is not as it is still litigation, in many ways as motorcycles were unsafe there would most likely be greater legislation and regulations in place, I have been told no one will deal with my case, which seems very strange. I was also told by the call handler that they do not deal with criminal cases when the agreement they sent me said they do and would pass it onto a separate team, to me this seems very odd as it clearly says on the websites that they deal with all types of fraud and scams such as building, land, business and consumer litigation on a no win no fee basis. They said claims for crypto were lower below £3k, why would it be any different it is still fraud and scams and protected under probably greater legislation?, my case was no different as I had bought a motorcycle at a distance where the goods and services were misrepresented no different to a crypto scam, they said they would only deal with crypto where banks and the FCA have broken rules to charge them back which is not what the CEL website says, it says it covered all types of fraud and scams on a no win no fee basis, they would not look at my case. I really do not understand if dealing with crypto you have to add a disclaimer to say that you can loose all your money and I struggle to see how anyone could possibly regulate this, with my case it clearly is under Law for prohibit the sale of unsafe and unsatisfactory goods and services so for a legal firm to claim to be one of the best in the country that gets people’s money back from fraud and scams but only deals with crypto at lower levels and regulations seems very odd to me as they also said that no legal firm would take on my case because of these reasons.

So far impeccable, Beth Maloney of CIL has been working my case, efficient with excellent comms, fingers crossed her efforts will see Santander recover my scammed pension…
