The main issue arose during a phone call with Lauren Jurek. I was spoken to in a rude and dismissive manner after contacting the third party involved in the claim. What made this especially frustrating is that I had previously been advised to make that contact and I later provided screenshot evidence proving this instruction had been given to me. Despite providing proof, instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding or resolving the issue professionally, I was accused of being “aggressive and defensive” and shortly afterwards informed that the firm would be closing my case and withdrawing instructions. As a client dealing with an injury claim, I expected professionalism, proper communication, and fair treatment. Instead, I was left feeling upset, blamed for following instructions I had been given, and forced to seek alternative legal representation. I have kept all emails and evidence relating to this matter and I am seriously considering making a formal complaint regarding the way my case was handled. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm.

Still waiting for my compensation after minor car accident. They already confirmed that third party already accepted liability, the have agreed on the sum and now it’s been 3 weeks and still nothing. I tried emailing but all I got was a rude respond back that they’ve tried contacting third party and will still carry on. Pathetic company, stay aww if you can. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND these to anyone.

It was a long and constant process but both Daniel Sambrookes and John Doyle helped a huge amount in my claim. Offer a good price for the amount of work and time put in behind the scenes i am sure. Very pleased with the outcome and i highly recommend Robert James Solicitors. Thank you

AVOID! I wish I’d seen these reviews before I was recommended this solicitors. Called up on a Friday to make a new case, my details were taken and I was told I’d get a call on Monday, between 11 & 2, from someone to confirm whether or not they would take on my case. I arranged childcare for this call as I didn’t want my daughter hearing the scary details of my husbands attack. It got to 12 o’clock and I called just to ask what time I could expect the call and they found no record of my call from the Friday. They then take my details and tell me someone will be in touch. I hear back from a solicitor the following Friday who tells me they won’t be able to take my case on as the person we were suing doesn’t own his home and has no other assets. I went onto the land registry and looked it up myself (at my expense of £7) to find the attacker DOES in fact own 2 homes and has assets we can claim against. So the solicitor had somehow looked up the wrong address even though the address was written on screenshots I added into evidence. I sent the details over and called up Monday morning to ask if they had received them and if the solicitor could call me to confirm if he was going to take in the case or not. It took me calling 4 times across 2 days to finally speak with the solicitor. He said ‘I was going to continue the case but you’re quite insistent if you don’t mind me saying’ I found this incredibly rude. Of course I was being insistent as I just assumed a common courtesy would be to call me as soon as the error had been acknowledged and apologise and then give me a timescale as to when I would hear back. I wouldn’t have minded if he said he’d call me back in a months time! I was just looking for acknowledgement that they had received my email and also receive an apology for the error. The solicitor then said ‘give me some time to decide whether or not I want to work with you, I’ll get back to you’. It goes without saying that I ended our claim there and then as we clearly wouldn’t be able to have a positive working relationship. I only worked with them for 8 days and had already seen plenty of incompetence and lack of responses to know this solicitor is not the one to handle our case. We are already going through a traumatic time as a young family with a young child and this has been exacerbated by the service we have received from Robert James. Please do your research and go elsewhere!

Although my original matter dates back many years and could no longer be pursued legally, Robert Jones still took the time to respond personally, review the situation, and offer sincere guidance regarding my current health concerns. Terrible company, very unprofessional waste of time firstly my medicals information was wrong from the medical examiner they said they would get it changed they didn’t and said that i couldn’t have another medical examination unless i paid £200 for it i had all payslip and my doctor certificate signing me off work for 2 weeks due to the accident the third party refused to pay my sick pay saying I was not working at the time of the accident and I was working that was because my medical examination was wrong and was not changed they said they would sort it out and get it corrected but they didn’t so I got a hundreds of pounds less compensation I was entitled to they didn’t fight or help me just more interested in was the 40% on my compensation payment which wasn’t the right amount i should have been entitled to and told me not to take third party to court I would have to pay for it and would end with no compensation after all my court costs even if I won.Don't use this company they are a waste of money and time plenty of other law firm that would fight to get you the correct amount of compensation your entitled to and make sure that your medical examination was done correctly STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

The team at Robert James made the process straightforward and explained all stages of my claim as it progressed. From taking my crash details, organising my private medical and going to court to achieve my compensation. I would have given up without their support.
