Having been most lamentably served by a previous establishment—leaving my affairs in a state of considerable disarray—I found myself in no small amount of trepidation. However, my fortunes changed entirely upon engaging the services of the esteemed Mel and Polly at the firm. These ladies possess a constitution of remarkable industry and a most commendable dispatch. They took up the complexities of my matter with such expert facility that I was spared any necessity of offering reminders or inquiries. Without a single lapse, they saw fit to provide me with a comprehensive report of progress at the conclusion of every week; a habit of communication that afforded me the most profound peace of mind. We had a very unexpected call in December 2023 notifying us that we were executors of a relative's will - we needed to travel 200 miles to meet with Kieran Athow to discuss all that was involved.He was particularly helpful and honest with all that was needed but also how we could do some things ourselves which would help costs in the long run.The whole situation was extremely complicated but Kieran was very patient and explained things in such a way that we understood what was going on.The nature of the will and complications that ensued meant the resolution took over 2 years.During this time we were always kept up to date with where things were up to and what was going on.We managed 3 face to face meetings (400 mile round trip!) but on each occasion we were treated with kindness and understanding - especially if running late! I would have no hesitation in recommending this firm but particularly Kieran to deal with any legal matters - we were intially at a loss as where to start but the guidance we received was first class. We used Hayes + Storr to re-write our wills. Kieran helped to make the process really straightforward and clearly explained what we did not understand. We found the reception staff really friendly too. We would be more than happy to use them again.

We used Hayes and storr while purchasing our first property after being given notice on the rented property we were in already. Mel was brilliant, very efficient and continously kept on top of chasing a rather slow solicitor on our puchasers side to ensure this sale went through before we were made homeless with two young children. For that we will be forever grateful and will.certainly use them again in the future.
We received an absolutely fantastic service from Mel & Polly during our house move. They made this part of the process so much easier and stress free, which we cannot thank them enough for. They kept us fully updated throughout and whenever we had a question it was promptly responded to in a clear and understandable manner. We cannot recommend Hayes + Storr highly enough! And whilst we don't plan to move for a least 10 years now - we will be sure to be in touch with them when the time comes to move again.

We enquired through a friend for a quote for purchase of home, Kayleigh came back the next day with a detailed breakdown of the cost, communication has been amazing, always kept up to date, QUICK RESPONSES!!!! Kayleigh responded within minutes, silly questions always answered, Kayleigh is very thorough and not afraid to push another solicitor for a sale 10/10.
