We are so pleased with BMTC Law who handled our move from Northampton area. It became a very slow and stressful move (due to other parties), but we were always kept fully in touch by the BMTC team. The actual completion went really smoothly and we received all the necessary phone calls and e-mails to enable us to move without any problems. We would highly recommend BMTC Law. We would only suggest one improvement at the very start of the process. When providing our Photo ID at the start, it would have been nice to meet (face to face) one of the team. Having said that, the team were on the ball and gave us all the information we needed to complete our home move - and sent us a lovely "Welcome to your New Home card), whihc was much appreciated.

We have been trying to buy the land next to our house from the garden for a few years.
Mohammed was really good and dealing with the council and pointed out things we would never have thought of. We ended up with a better deal on the conditions and restricions the council tried to put on the land.
We are now really happy and hopefully be able to build the extension we wanted and enjoy our bigger garden.

Used a wonderful lady called Carly Arthur, really down to earth, knowledgable and switched on. Easy to park and in a nice part of Northampton. Lady behind reception is chatty, nice to look at and talk to. On the whole the experience was very nice and I came away with a warm feeling inside, knowing that things will get actioned.

I used Jordan Harrison for a flat purchase in June 2021 and was very happy with the service (in fact, am only getting around to leaving a review now, as I am recommending her to a friend about to make a purchase!).
My purchase was directly following a probate sale which required a lease extension - I'd used different solicitors for both and had awful experiences with both, so I was at the end of my tether and my expectations were low...But Jordan's level of responsiveness and general professionalism was a breath of fresh air.

Borneo Hughes Martell had been a well-known name in Northampton since the early 1970s although its history as a Bedford based law firm can be traced as far back as 1869. Since 1982 it had based its practice in offices that had formerly been the science block of Notre Dame Convent School in the town centre. The firm Turner Coulston was formed in 1993 when local solicitors Keith Turner & Ashton merged with Leo Coulston & Co and continued business from the Billing Road offices that Leo Coulston & Co had occupied for many years. In 1996, the firm acquired the legal practice of Clark & Co in Kettering and then incorporated Hodson Margetts, solicitors in Raunds in 2004. Today, the 9 partner firm of Borneo Martell Turner Coulston and its total staff of around 50 people across its offices in Northampton and Kettering offers a comprehensive legal service to both commercial and individual clients. We have a strong team of lawyers and support staff enabling us to offer our clients expert advice in a broader range of areas.
