i just wanted to say that my experience with BMTC has always been a positive one. I have had cause to consult them on a few issues and their advice has always been practical, concise and simple enough for me to understand. I mainly dealt with Tessa, who was extremely professional and responded to all my queries promptly, ensuring that my property transfer went ahead smoothly. After a period of time and the opportunity to instruct Mr Rahman on numerous legal requirements, I fully recommend his services to all. Mr Rahman has ensured that our lease requirements were completed to a very high standard, but also in a time scale we have never experienced with other practices. Most importantly it was Mr Rahman and his continued efforts that ensured the lease was completed far sooner than expected. This he did without prompt.

I have dealt with Mr Mohammed Rahman at this practice for my commercial conveyance for sometime. Recently he has completed a new commercial lease. The level of service and attention to detail was far superior to other practices that we have experienced in the past. Not only was the lease completed in a extremely timely manner, the person pushing for completion most was Mr Rahman himself. As for the fees we have always found them reasonable and certainly inline with current legal environment. We hope this review provides some reassurance to others for his professionalismnand service.

Mohamed was incredibly rude on the phone, stating that he was wasting his time (on a 5 minute call) without even listening to the case we were presenting or answering any question. He also implied we didn't have enough money to pursue a case. Unprofessional and rude, don't contact them if you need any help.

As a first-time buyer, the process of purchasing a home can be quite overwhelming, and I did find the communication a bit lacking at times during the early stages — responses were sometimes delayed, which was frustrating when trying to understand the next steps. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t give a full 5 stars.
That said, once things got moving, the team were professional, helpful, and supportive throughout the remainder of the process. They handled everything efficiently, kept me updated as we approached exchange, and answered any questions I had with clarity. I really appreciated their effort in the final stages to ensure everything went smoothly. Overall, a very good experience.

Borneo Hughes Martell had been a well-known name in Northampton since the early 1970s although its history as a Bedford based law firm can be traced as far back as 1869. Since 1982 it had based its practice in offices that had formerly been the science block of Notre Dame Convent School in the town centre. The firm Turner Coulston was formed in 1993 when local solicitors Keith Turner & Ashton merged with Leo Coulston & Co and continued business from the Billing Road offices that Leo Coulston & Co had occupied for many years. In 1996, the firm acquired the legal practice of Clark & Co in Kettering and then incorporated Hodson Margetts, solicitors in Raunds in 2004. Today, the 9 partner firm of Borneo Martell Turner Coulston and its total staff of around 50 people across its offices in Northampton and Kettering offers a comprehensive legal service to both commercial and individual clients. We have a strong team of lawyers and support staff enabling us to offer our clients expert advice in a broader range of areas.
