Great service

Really good service, I corresponded with Victoria and was kept informed all the way through, at every step. She was friendly and very approachable if I had a question to ask, Response times to e mails were great, all in all I cannot fault anything and would definitely use again.

Patient and Polite

It took over 2 Years to finalise the sale of a plot of land and Victoria and her PA Lindsay were so positive and supportive keeping me informed, constantly chasing other Solicitors. Nothing was too much trouble, helped me with everything - Victoria without you I would have given up - thank you, friendly, happy voice yippee all done now. Can't recommend her enough people.!!

Awful, unprofessional, dismissive

Bower Bailey were recommended by Bovis/Vistry - this was perhaps where we went wrong. Throughout our process as first time house buyers, Bower Bailey (namely Louise Taylor, Stuart Palmer and David Black) have been rude, unprofessional and dismissive to our specific issues. As a result of Bower Bailey's negligence (lack of attention to detail of planning documents and failure to highlight specific covenants as being potentially detrimental to our experiences as house owners) we are still (two years later) in dispute with the adjoining plot. Bower Bailey showed no interest in our complaints when we clearly and concisely followed their internal complaints procedure and simply fobbed us off with non specific responses.

We are still hopeful of pursuing our complaints through the Legal Ombudsman as we remain significantly aggrieved and negatively affected by our experiences with Bower Bailey.

We urge anyone who is a first time house buyer not to use Bower Bailey and wish we had never done so.

Rude Banbury receptionist and completely unprofessional!

Unprofessional approach to customer care and a total let down.
I asked for a quote some time back for a simple piece of financial advice and was provided with a competitive price. I accepted the price and was told by Joanne Dobson’s secretary, she would take on the work on in April. This was perfect. So I provided Joanne's details to my mortgage lender who is due to send her some forms in April.
This week I tried to contact Joanne Dobson to ensure she is expecting the paperwork and establish communication with her properly. After several calls and an email (which were ignored) I finally got through to the rather brash lady on reception who decided to tell me after days of trying to get hold of Joanne that she is now too busy to take my work on. This I found frustrating as I had no correspondence from her or her team. This will delay my mortgage application considerably. After a I had expressed my dissatisfaction I ended the call, I was then harassed and called back three times by the lady wanting an argument and a fight. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. All because she didn’t communicate with me and wasted weeks in my mortgage application. I would avoid this Banbury branch and look elsewhere. Luckily I have found another company locally to deal with who will speed the process up! As a previous client I was not expecting this level of service.

Amazing

Bower and Bailey were instructed on the sale of my property and I can honestly say they made a stressful situation a lot easier. I was so happy and impressed they will also be instructed on the purchase of our next property and I have recommended them to family who have also instructed them!

Excellent Service

My family and I have been using the services of Bower Bailey Banbury for well over 40 years and are never disappointed with the excellent level of professional service we have received. Most recently Phil Cooksey has handled the sale of a property for me, swiftly, without fuss or delay and in an impressive 8.5 weeks from me accepting the offer to completion! Phone calls are always answered promptly, e-mails responded to at an impressive speed and always friendly and professionally. I can't recommend Bower Bailey highly enough.

Fantastic

I would use Bower Bailey again without hesitation and would recommend them to anyone.

Gareth was recommended to me by a colleague, who used him for conveyancing after he was recommended to her.

My transaction became urgent due to the failings of other solicitors, and Gareth dealt with it as quickly as he could. His secretary, Penny, was also extremely helpful. Both always replied to emails or phoned me back right away. Gareth was patient with the fact that I had a lot of questions, and his responses were always very easy to understand. The people I spoke to on reception were also very polite and helpful.

I normally never leave public reviews, but I wanted to this time because everyone at Bower Bailey was brilliant.

Rude receptionist

Did a document there which apparently was incomplete , so I had to return . On my return , I tried to explain the receptionist that the document needed re-done as ,according to another solicitor was incomplete and they won’t accept it . She appeared annoyed and was very rude , almost yelled at me saying that I would have to pay again if I wanted done again.
In fact the solicitor was very nice ,listened and re-done the document in no time , asked me to call back if I needed further assistance.
Very bad customer service from the receptionist , she made me feel awful with her attitude...
