We had used Howell-Jones to draw up earlier wills and enduring powers of attorney so had no hesitation in going back to them 13 years later, now in 2026. From first to last they offered us an excellent, prompt and helpful service, not least in agreeing to come to our home for the signing and witnessing as some disability issues and difficult parking near their Leatherhead office would have caused us problems otherwise.

We’ve have used this firm twice now. Firstly was to sell an inherited property and because that went so well we have recently updated our wills. So we have experienced two very different types of solicitors in terms of their knowledge and expertise but experienced the same high standard of service across both. Friendly, accessible, efficient and clarity. What more could you want when dealing with those important aspects of your life.

We recently needed to update our wills and decided to contact Howell Jones a local solicitor. We were seen very quickly by Gemma Barilli. Gemma was very friendly and talked us through the process of the update and the fee structure. We explained what we wanted to change and why. A few days later we received the drafts for checking. After sending our updates Gemma contacted us to let us know that our will were ready for signing. A short meeting was arranged, after which we were sent copies for our records, details of where the wills are stored. This was accompanied by an asset register for completion. The whole process was painless and we would recommend Howell Jones to anyone needing to write or update a will.
