Top 10 of 849 law firms for Disciplinary Appeals (Non Academic Misconduct), Appeals Law

Law firms ranked by client reviews

Disciplinary appeals (non-academic misconduct) cover appeals against decisions taken by professional regulators and disciplinary panels in which a practitioner’s fitness to practice, registration or conduct is challenged. A solicitor practising in this area handles appeals arising from regulators such as the General Medical Council, Nursing and Midwifery Council, or other regulated professions where non-academic misconduct findings affect entitlement to practise. The work includes reviewing the regulator’s decision, preparing the appeal grounds, gathering evidence, and presenting the case in the appropriate tribunal or court, with the aim of overturning or altering the original discipline, or securing a rehearing.

What a solicitor handles in these matters

These appeals involve navigating the regulators’ procedures, gathering regulatory documents, drafting grounds of appeal, and arguing issues such as regulatory misapplication, procedural unfairness, or errors of law before tribunals or courts. The process may turn on timely service of notices, disclosure regimes, and the interpretation of fitness-to-practise standards under the regulator’s rules and relevant statutory framework, all of which dictate how the matter proceeds.

Yes/no satisfied of the outcome because I know I was pushed to plea guilty because the barrister said the jury will find me guilty even if I didn't do anything. My solicitor at WhiteRoseBlackmans told me to plea not guilty because no evidence on one matter but never did anything wrong to the other matter either. Just silly things I said. I am going to wait until I get out to see if I can overthrow my convictions. Can't believe the jury would find me guilty on no evidence. I should have never been put in here because of what I went through in my childhood in the 80s, been let down like children are today getting blamed for something not their fault.
