I Was recommended Albin and Co for a family law case and contacted them for help. I was contacted by Sally Wood who handled my case from start to finish almost immediately after I sent in an initial inquiry. I have to say Sally's advice was excellent and she gave very helpful information from the very first communication. All aspects of the case were clearly explained and costs were always taken into consideration. Advice was clearly given for every step of my case and Sally and her team ensured that all paper work was filed correctly and even chased up the court when they had not returned paperwork on time to ensure there was no delays in my case. Sally represented myself at my initial hearing and was superb in the way she handled the whole aspect of the hearing making sure to explain everything as it happened and dealt with the other party as well to ensure a smooth and fast hearing. Once the case had moved onto it's final hearing Sally recommended a barrister for the day and ensured all paper work was completed and supplied to the court in a timely fashion. In all I felt that Sally and her team were very professional and were 100% dedicated to my case. I got a very positive outcome with my hearing and feel that I owe this to Sally's hard work on my case. After my initial telephone consultation with Rachel, I knew I was going to use RJS Family Law for my financial proceedings. She was the only solicitor that I felt really cared about what the client wanted and would fight for it. I instructed Rachel for my FDR in January 2025. She prepared my position statement and created the court bundle. She took my instructions throughout by asking how involved I wanted her to be in the process in order to keep costs to a minimum. I gathered all the evidence from my ex-husband and then provided it to Rachel so she could create the bundle. She advised me on my position and also listened to what I wanted to achieve and why. At the FDR, it was clear that she understood the facts of my case as she was able to defend points raised by my ex-husband. I was able to reach a positive settlement at the FDR which would not have been possible without Rachel’s help. She was very approachable and we had a lovely conversation whilst waiting to be called in. Although her hourly rate may be high, her communication is clear and concise so you’re not wasting money on unnecessarily long communication. In the end, I didn’t end up paying as much as I had anticipated. The service I received was worth every penny. I would recommend RJS Family Law to anyone needing assistance with family of child matters. They care about their clients and want the best for them.
