Ajantha handled my FLR(M) application as an unmarried partner, and from the moment she took it on she went through everything with me point by point. She never once let it show. She stayed calm, told me what to do next, and made sure I did not panic about any of it. On more than one occasion she was still helping me well outside office hours. When the decision came through she let me know straight away, before anyone else, and she sounded as pleased about it as I was. That is not something I expected from a solicitor, and after months of waiting it meant a great deal. English is not my first language and immigration rules are hard to follow even in plain English. Mr Spender came to our home, as my husband and I found great difficulty in climbing the stairs to his office. He took great trouble in explaining the Lasting Power of Attorney to us. I was able to read the forms, but my husband, who has Macular Degeneration could not. Mr Spender spent time and effort in reading the forms to him.
