In 2020 our neighbour threatened to remove guttering, soffits and fascia from one side of our home which overhang into his air space. Their insurers have accepted that there was negligence. Harrowells Ltd were engaged to act on our behalf in this matter to try to resolve the issue legally, including the offer of a payment and legal costs to the neighbour, who declined them. However, a claim for damages for negligence by the conveyancing solicitor has been successful. This, over a period of four years.
