Overcharged, Neglected, and Secretly Sued – Vulnerable Clients Beware
If I could give zero stars, I would. As a vulnerable client still experiencing domestic abuse, I am beyond shocked by this firm’s conduct. I was receiving threats and had to leave the country for my own safety. Despite this, I paid them over £15,000 (after being told it would cost £3,000). They never consulted me about extra charges, failed to act on my instructions, and left me without a lawyer at the worst possible time. They never contacted me about taking me to court for a CCJ. I only found out months later when I requested my data. The amount was disputed, and I was left to prepare my own defence bundle while they still charged me for work they never completed. They repeatedly failed to submit critical evidence to the police on my behalf. Their negligence meant I was arrested multiple times, forced to leave the country, and suffered serious harm—all based on fabricated evidence that could have been disproved if my lawyer, Stephen Fern, had simply done his job. He took my witness statements in June 2024 (and charged me), then never submitted them. If you care about your money, your safety, or basic professionalism, avoid this firm at all costs
