    Expected better

    G.W.C..A handled both my sale/purchase and were conveyancing for the seller of the property I was purchasing. Very, very slow, taking many days off and holidays and with vague/inaccurate answers to enquiries. Likeable people, reasonable price but so slow and not really 'on the ball'. Previous experience with an actual 'solicitor' doing the conveyancing was far better.

    We are sorry to read your review but would advise that both sale and purchase took approximately 3 months from file opening until completion which is an average timescale and as noted in our client care letter. Having looked at the files it can be seen that both sale and purchase matters were conducted in a professional and timely manner, and there were no concerns raised during the transactions in respect of timings.

    Excellent conveyancer

    It has been a long time since I have experienced the completion of a sale of a property in four weeks from when solicitors details were exchanged. Granted there was no chain on either side, but it shows what can be done when needed. It was an unparalleled service by Amanda Edgar and her team.

    Great experience working with GWCA to secure our first home. We were dealing with Amanda and Macy who were both lovely. We were due to be kicked out of our rental on a date close to the estimated completion time which was quite stressful. Amanda and Macy went the extra mile to get contracts exchanged and completed in a short period of time so that we could seamlessly move straight from our rental to house purchase.

    I had a very tricky lease extension to do and was passed to the litigation department. My solicitor was Abigail Forrest. I cannot praise her more. The extension took just over a year as there were many complications. Abigail was incredibly patient with me and always thoroughly explained the answers to my many questions. Even when I didn’t understand she took the time to give me such details responses. Thank you so much Abigail. Highly recommended.

      Lengthy and uncommunicative. Solicitor made it clear that he disliked the other firm of solicitors involved- probably with complete justification. However the personal animosity seemed to get in the way of dealing with the matter. As a result i lost over £7k as it was not completed in time
