Purchase of my council house.

Tim Hare has been fantastic on dealing with my council house purchase,he's very fast at getting things done,in under six weeks of taking on my case the house purchase is completed,I can't believe how quick he got it sorted, if I was unsure about anything he explained it to me and always replied to my emails. A big,big thank you from me to Tim.

Worst law firm

I used Holden Smith to process the purchase of my house. What a mistake. They were very poor and seemed at times to mot know what they were doing. I could never get hold of them and they missed vital pieces of information.

Worst solicitor I’ve ever had the misfortune to be involved with

If I could give a minus star rating I would. Absolutely awful. Rude, arrogant and generally unhelpful. Phone calls are ignored, emails unanswered, and when you do finally get to talk to them they clearly have better things to do that answer questions from the person that’s paying them. We were told one thing one day then told something else completely different the next time we made contact to then be told that’s not what we were told in the first place. What should have been a relatively quick and easy house purchase has become an almost unending nightmare. I 100% would NOT recommend this firm to anyone for anything

The seller is using this firm and so far they’ve caused no ends of delays with their poor service, communication and incompetence, now in direct contact with the seller who confirmed they don’t communicate properly with them either.

From incorrect documents to not even reading the emails sent properly but replying with useless information.

Months of waiting for them to reply they’ve known they need to provide since August.

stay away from this firm if you want your house purchase to go through in a timely manner.

- FTB, No Chain, still ongoing from July solely due to this conveyancer.

Tim and Leigh were great working as my sell-side solicitors. It was not easy process but the proactiveness and responsiveness of the service was great especially when dealing with difficult buy-side solicitors. Also, rather refreshingly, Tim would ring me as required, which made life easier and helped the service rather than just communicating exclusively through emails.

Would certainly recommend Tim and Leigh.
