I felt they weren’t helpful. Whenever I tried to call the office no one would answer majority of times. Information I needed wasn’t given and I felt things weren’t explained simply considering I’m a first time buyer and unsure on the process

I was recommended Holden Smith but my experience is somewhat mixed. The communication wasn’t great from the beginning- I had many different people assigned to me and it wasn’t clear who I should be in touch with. Communication wasn’t passed on and I found myself repeating and resending the same information.

The app system of uploading was challenging. I was asked to do this again and in the end it was rejected and it became easier to send via email.

Since I have been assigned someone, the communication has been easier. Holly seems to have picked up the pieces and I thank her for that.

I am aware there’s been a lot of change within branch but in my experience I feel this has impacted clients.

I wish you all the best in smoothing things over for a better service to future clients.

Poor communication!

It took over 5 months to complete our sale. We weren't kept in formed unless we called and we were given information of things we needed to produce at very short notice in the last few days before the sale was completed. My sister was told that she needed to provide photo ID to complete the sale, but we were told at the beginning of the sale process there where ways around this as she doesn't hold a passport or photo driving licence. The sale still went through but a lot of stress was caused.

Amazing service from Keeley Smith at the Ilkley branch. Throughout the entire process, Keeley and the team were amazingly supportive, helping to complete my remortgage quickly. It was a stressful time, and the speed and support from Keeley was just outstanding. After being recommended Holden Smith and Keeley and the team by Mortgage Advisory, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her and the team to others. Thank you all!

Since Jess Mckenzie took over the management of the Sale Process i have been very impressed. Nothing too much trouble and she was helpful, very communicative, timely and proactive. She provided a great deal of help and advice and made what was a "stressful situation" relatively comfortable. She is extremely knowledgeable and managed the process very professionably. I would recommend Holden Smith and Jess specifically. A job wekk done. Thanks Jess !!
