The service was not satisfactory from start to finish, lost documents. Lied about contacting times for other businesses to gain correspondence. If you ring up and ask for a call back don’t expect one. Some people of the firm cannot look at a calendar and get a date correct. Lost important paperwork and then tried to blame external processing times of another company. Worst experience ever, would not recommend

I used the Denby Dale branch to conduct a review of my will and update and was extremely satisfied with all aspects of my dealing with them, everyone being relaxed and friendly. I would not hesitate to use them again.

The process of reviewing our wills and bringing them up to date was excellent. It was a pleasure to conduct the process online, not exactly face to face but that was no problem, our choice. The resultant wills were exactly what we wanted. Cost seemed reasonable compared to some stories we had heard. We chose not to deposit the completed wills. However there was one area of disappointment… admin. The initial process went well, but then elements of communication took on a rather annoying jumble. I appreciate that the company was in the process of moving etc., but the disjointed email trail let things down. Guess it just needs someone to review and oversee adim processes to get it sorted. Despite this glitch, would recommend the service, and we are happy with the practical outcome.

Alex kept us up to date and was excellent in continuing to keep us up to date and forwarding documents that he was able to retrieve. Sukhmani of Holden Smith handled the sale of my brother in laws home from the beginning of July 2025. He was on end of life and there was a risk of everything being frozen if he passed away prior to sale, but he had strong wishes that his sale would take place during his life. Sadly, after signing the contract, he passed away a couple of weeks short of exchange. The sale was still agreed. The buyers still wished to purchase and were prepared to wait pending probate. The proceedings were dealt with as quickly as possible and the sale completed on the 26th November 2025. It was an emotional time but Sukhmani and team dealt with everything professionally and with patience, care and support. A big thank you from the family
