The fact that the deceased did not make a will made the administration more difficult. The incompetence of the court added to the time taken. The input from Ryan McCormack the paralegal was first class and greatly appreciated.

Very helpful very friendly very patient couldn't do enough for my elderly aunt to help her understand her will, thank you Florence.
Went in to pick up a will so only saw the receptionist but she was very friendly and helpful
I used SME solicitors through strong recommendation from professional friends that are in the property business & SME have always been my parents solicitors – I was not disappointed. I had what I thought was going to be a difficult move, my chain had 4 properties in it, me being the end property. I also had another property that had to be sold before I could move on in my chain, it was all happening at the same time. Elizabeth Meddings was the solicitor dealing with both of my property chains, she was brilliant! We had our up’s & down’s in the whole process but due to her very professional approach, always being on hand to speak to & answering emails straight away she made it happen & all with very little stress for me & that is down to Liz for all the reasons above. I have also been dealing with some other matters with Gill Holder. Gill has a huge Knowledge on Wills, Probate & Power of attorney, I also got the same professional, prompt response to correspondence from her. I would not hesitate to recommend SME solicitors & there services to anyone.

Made email contact on 23/02/26 with initial enquiry as instructed and checked by phone the next day to check. I was told it had been passed to one of their people who would call me back after they returned from lunch. It is now 13/03/26 and still no response……………….am I surprised…NO
