Most stressful experience
I have used Morr & Co before and the same conveyancing executive but I was horrified by how things have changed since the last occasion. Individuals were friendly and tried to be helpful but there are systemic problems which caused huge stress. In essence, there was a lot more onus placed on the client to upload things via an app - only for these items to be ignored by the company. Vast numbers of emails were flying around with all and sundry copied in and yet across there seemed to be very little real communication. This in fairness seems to have been the same with all the law firms involved. It was the estate agents who did a vast amount to keep things on track with phone calls and a much more personal approach. I feel there are systemic issues here, rather than an individual being incompetent, but I still could not recommend the team

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for your feedback. We are pleased that you were ultimately satisfied with the outcome of your matter, but we are sorry to hear that the process felt stressful and that our service did not meet your expectations on this occasion. Your comments regarding communication and the use of our online systems have been noted and will be reviewed carefully. Property transactions involving a chain can be complex, as progress often depends on balancing the needs, requirements and readiness of multiple parties. This can sometimes lead to delays or periods where activity appears limited while essential matters are being coordinated across the chain. In these circumstances, delays are not necessarily attributable to any individual party or adviser, but rather to the need to ensure that all elements of the transaction are aligned before matters can proceed safely and effectively. We appreciate that this can be frustrating from a client's perspective and we regret that the process did not feel as seamless as it should have done. We continually review our processes and client communications to identify areas for improvement and your feedback is valuable in helping us do so. Thank you again for bringing your concerns to our attention and we wish you all the best in your new home. Morr & Co LLP
