I am a Chartered Legal Executive based at the Firm’s Runcorn office. I qualified as a Member of The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 1998 and thereafter as a Fellow in 2001. I also achieved accreditation to the Law Society Family Law Scheme on 1st October 2011. I have worked in the legal profession in Runcorn for over 30 years joining Butcher & Barlow in 2004. I specialise in Family Law and my day-to-day workload covers a wide variety of family law matters including: Pre Proceeding with Social Services; Care Proceedings; Children Act matters; Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders; Divorce and Financial matters; Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements; Cohabitation Disputes/Agreements; Separation Agreements Parental Responsibility; Removal from Jurisdiction; and Change of Name.

Family Law

Very reassuring, making a stressful situation easier

I dealt with my solicitor Cathy and I cannot recommend her enough, she reassured me, had unbelievable knowledge and compassion. I honestly would have had a breakdown without her help in my case. Would 100% recommend this company and Cathy to assist.

Went above and beyond

I just wanted to thank you personally for the handling of my case. You have been unbelievable, helping me through every single aspect of this case and I appreciate you went above and beyond as I have been highly emotional throughout this process. If this matter returns to court I would only feel comfortable coming to yourself Honestly I cannot thank you enough. Thank you for being so understanding and protecting my beautiful and happy boy. I could have just unraveled with the stress of it all without you taking control of everything and assisting me, I’ll be forever grateful
