Tom read law at the University of East Anglia, graduating in 2019 and thereafter completed the Legal Practice Course along with an MSc in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law in Chester. Tom qualified as a Solicitor in May 2023 into a Cheshire firm's busy commercial property department running a diverse and varied caseload of property transactions. Tom joined Butcher & Barlow in October 2025 and would be more than happy to assist with any Commercial/Agricultural Sales, Purchases, Leases and more.

    Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

    I used Tom at Butcher & Barlow to negotiate a commercial lease on our new premises. Despite numerous obstacles, delays and timeline pressure he responded to every email and returned every phone call within 24 hours. His guidance remained calm and resolute throughout which gave me a lot of confidence with an unfamiliar process. He was trustworthy and fair priced. So much so I have now used the company's services for will writing and employment law.

    We engaged Butch and Barlow to purchase some Agri-Land. Tom was assigned and remained a single point of contact through the whole process.
