Emma joined David & Snape, a predecessor firm of Redkite solicitors, in 1999 and is based at our Bridgend office where she specializes in private client work. Emma, a Partner at Red Kite Law, is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and has been since 2006. She is also a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and the Private Client section of the Law Society. Emma holds the Solicitors for the Elderly client care in practice award, is a Legal 500 Key Lawyer and an Affiliate Member of STEP. Emma is the Team Leader for the Bridgend and Porthcawl Wills & Probate Department which consists of seven staff members, is very experienced in her specialist area and deals with a comprehensive Private Client service including: – Wills and Associated Advice Inheritance Tax Planning Probate and Estates Services Administration of Intestate Estates Elderly Client Issues Lasting Powers of Attorney Care Home Fees Advice Court of Protection Work Emma can undertake work in all the above-mentioned complex areas of law personally from beginning to conclusion, therefore offering a complete service for all her clients, many of whom are elderly and bereaved, in an efficient sympathetic manner. Emma also acts on behalf of many vulnerable clients some of whom have lost capacity and she remain closely involved with some of these clients day to day needs and finances. The Estate of Mrs. Gillian Susan Connell
As executor I employed Emma Priest of Redkite Law LLP to handle the legal side of administering the will. I was given an estimated date for the Grant of Probate right at the start and this proved to be correct almost to the day. I was very pleased with the way matters were dealt with, sometimes by email. Sometimes by her assistant Sharon. The whole process went through very seamlessly and smoothly.

Dealing with probate estate
Emma and her team helped to deal with our late mothers estate as well as a deputyship order. They couldn’t do enough for you, and were always at the end of the phone in a very friendly and approachable manner. Can’t thank them enough
