What can typically be a very stressful process ended up being very smooth thanks to the work of Abbie and her assistant, Paula. In particular, Abbie had to go above and beyond for us on our purchase as it ended up being much more complicated than originally expected with the land registry. This is the second time I've used Butcher & Barlow for conveyancing and they've been consistently brilliant. I was selling and purchasing a home in London and the first COVID lockdown hit a few months into the process. Abbie was incredibly efficient, very easy to get hold of, and I always felt like she was on my side. The pandemic did slow things down that were outside of Abbie's control but she kept on top of everything and everyone brilliantly and I honestly think if it wasn't for her then the whole thing would have fallen through. Despite some extra work being involved from what was anticipated, the fees I was originally quoted were what I was charged. I've since recommended Abbie to a friend, who is similarly happy with the help and advice received.

We experienced a really great service from the Runcorn office whilst purchasing our first house in a pandemic. Our Solicitor kept us fully updated as to the current position and was always willing to have a phone or email conversation to explain something to us. If she said she would do something on a certain day, it was done. Gave a quote for our fees at the very start and there were absolutely no surprises in our completion statement, which was also cheaper than other local quotes received. Absolute pleasure to deal with and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
