I initially chose Slater Heelis because I required an out of region firm to ensure complete impartiality. When it came to defending my case, Hannah left no stone unturned and handled it with absolute precision. Hannah was also remarkably quick to respond when an email from a serving police whistleblower came through over a weekend, ensuring the critical breakthrough was handled immediately. Not only was my case fully resolved with a NFA outcome, but the support went above and beyond standard legal defense. Upon conclusion, I was provided me with a clear chronology of events specifically designed to assist me in launching a formal complaint against the police. I was arrested for waking up after my partner came to the house extremely intoxicated and I prevented her from going out again in that state .They also put bail conditions on me as my partner said some very serious allegations that were not true. The police did not consider her state or the fact that I was absolutely sober, and instead took me in. I was in a cell for 19 hours and was released under investigation on bail .I called Hannah desperately as I needed someone specialised in pre- charge engagement. She said she could not promise me a result and that the bail conditions that were severely impacting our lives (financially, mentally , physically and logistically , with a shared dog involved ) were not easy to remove as the allegation was serious . She was spot on. She heard me . This needed to go quickly as our lives and jobs were at stake and she understood our struggle , especially considering the events and background . She was quick, knowledgeable, efficient 100%. The case was dropped as the police understood the irrationality and disproportion of all of this, bail conditions were also removed - all of this in 40 days . Can’t thank you enough Hannah! You know my struggle ! I would like to also thank Rachel who on Hannah’s absence always replied to me promptly and kept me informed. I would recommend 100% !!!!
