I was arrested for waking up after my partner came to the house extremely intoxicated and I prevented her from going out again in that state .They also put bail conditions on me as my partner said some very serious allegations that were not true. The police did not consider her state or the fact that I was absolutely sober, and instead took me in. I was in a cell for 19 hours and was released under investigation on bail .I called Hannah desperately as I needed someone specialised in pre- charge engagement. She said she could not promise me a result and that the bail conditions that were severely impacting our lives (financially, mentally , physically and logistically , with a shared dog involved ) were not easy to remove as the allegation was serious . She was spot on. She heard me . This needed to go quickly as our lives and jobs were at stake and she understood our struggle , especially considering the events and background . She was quick, knowledgeable, efficient 100%. The case was dropped as the police understood the irrationality and disproportion of all of this, bail conditions were also removed - all of this in 40 days . Can’t thank you enough Hannah! You know my struggle ! I would like to also thank Rachel who on Hannah’s absence always replied to me promptly and kept me informed. I would recommend 100% !!!!

I was recommended to Slater Heelis while i was navigating my way through children's court as while going through the what can only be described as a low point in life when you are having to fight vexatious litigation to be able to see your children, i then had multiple false allegations made about me by the respondent, only 6 months later after the court ordered a 50/50 lives with order i found myself back in court to protect my children from the accuser. Gabriella Basiuk and her team who specialise in children's matters were outstanding, i was constantly updated and advised of what to do but most importantly, what not to do. i can highly recommend Gabriella.
