We had a very, very long and complex case involving buying a resale shared ownership and back to back staircasing. Gemma was so proactive throughout the whole process, even picking up the areas of the process that the seller’s solicitor would typically do where she was not confident in how they had been handling the case and by doing so, I know for a fact we have completed far sooner than we otherwise would have. Gemma was only ever a phone call, email or message on the app away and when we couldn’t get through on the phone or didn’t receive any updates, we learnt that this wasn’t poor communication, it was simply because they were working so hard behind the scenes to get things moving for us or chasing other solicitors/the housing association and had nothing to update us with at that time. All documents were provided when they should have been and all delays were minimised. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We would certainly use BLJ, and in particular Gemma, again. Lauren was also very knowledgeable and helpful in keeping us updated and providing us with the necessary documents.

We needed a remortgage quite urgently and Bell, Lamb & Joynson were quick to respond to enquires from us individually and from our mortgage broker. Gemma, our conveyance lawyer, was amazing from start to finish. She was professional, very experienced and diligent but most important to us was her empathetic and supportive approach to our situation as a family. We have disabilities and other difficult family issues which makes completing things like remortgage extremely stressful. Gemma calmed all our fears, took away virtually all of the work (bar essentials and signatures etc) and reassured us at every stage of the process. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you for all your help.

I have used Mike Leeman and his brilliant team for my recent house conveyancing. The whole process from start to finish was very professional, fast and I felt, as a customer I was important. The process made as easy as possible, and the on-boarding literally took less than 60 minutes from start to finish. High tech mobile phone communications, and very fast turnaround on messages. All members were great, and credit to Gemma and Lauren too. Thank you for the less stressful experience, and without a doubt, I will use them again.
