Born and raised in South Liverpool, Julie's career in criminal justice began 25 years ago at Liverpool Crown Court before obtaining a position in admin for Merseyside Probation Service and later being promoted to a Probation Service Officer based at Liverpool Magistrates Court for 10 years. After a short time living in London, she returned to Liverpool and spent 10 years as a Crown Court Clerk for an established criminal solicitor, assisting in the preparation of a wide range of criminal cases. Now Julie is a Criminal Paralegal at Bell Lamb & Joynson, where her extensive hands-on experience in a wide range of criminal matters helps her to deal with sensitive cases and assisting clients through what is often the most difficult times in the lives. Julie ensures that the busy department runs smoothly, taking care of client calls, preparing legal documents, supporting solicitors with their case loads and covering a range of administration duties. Outside of work Julie enjoys travelling, in particular, to the USA where her daughters live.
